Dynamic Bodyworks office Open A Larger Version

Dynamic Bodyworks is a Massage Therapy based Performance Wellness and Pain Management Studio with focus on Client Education, Personal Maintenance, and Whole Body Health in Austin, TX.

Our mission at Dynamic Bodyworks is to help clients understand and receive the full benefits of massage and bodywork to improve the body's performance and maintain good health.

Many of us lead busy lives. The repeated actions and motions of our daily routines affect our bodies in a number of ways. Being aware and mindful of what our bodies are doing and what our bodies are telling us can yield great results and help speed the process of achieving a happy, balanced body.

A Quick Caveat: When massage is offered as true bodywork, it goes far beyond a 'spa' type of treatment. While our practitioners can offer this, their true specialty goes beyond the superficial into the true art of practicing Integrative Bodywork, blending several modalities that meet the specific needs of our clients. It is this that we are most known for with our clients; it's the results that keep them out of their doctor's office and experiencing their most dynamic body every day!

We at Dynamic Bodyworks, see Massage and Bodywork as a major part of an individual's Personal Maintenance Regimen. When you maintain your body, you will find it is much easier to take care of yourself. It is also common to find, when you take care of yourself, it is easier to take care of others. A balanced body can help bring relief to all parts of life; more energy, better moods, better sleep, and less pain are all waiting to be released in you today! We invite you to see what Dynamic Bodyworks can do to help you achieve a happy and pain free life.

My name is Joe Treanor; owner and Head Therapist at Dynamic Bodyworks in Austin, TX. I am a graduate of the Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage, and have over 1200 hours of training. I have spent the past years serving Austin's bodywork needs throughout town in chiropractic offices, races & sports events, offices & corporate wellness programs, spas, health clubs, and now in our own location.

A life threatening car wreck in 2002 lead me to bodywork for rehabilitation. After achieving results I was told, were not possible by my doctors and surgeons, I realized massage shouldn't be seen as a luxury; but as an important part of personal maintenance and preventative health care.

My main points of focus are Advanced Integrative Bodywork, Structural Integration, Pain Management, Zero Balancing, Performance Wellness, Personal Maintenance, and Whole Body Health. These areas have personally shown me life changing results, and I would like to show others the power of their bodies and bodywork. Massage can have a great impact on the body. I know the strain people and athletes put on their bodies; and want to show our clients that they can live and perform better, when they take better care of themselves. Much of the bodywork I do is based on the belief that the body has the power to re-establish balance and heal itself when given the chance. I support the body's own resiliency by creating a space that encourages deep relaxation, balance, and centering while addressing any physical pain or discomfort. Each massage is custom tailored to suit the individual needs of each client.

"The goal ahead of my method is simply to restore movement to stuck joints & muscles that are causing our bodies to hurt. I seek out & gently release holding patterns as they reflect the way to unravel problematic restrictions giving deep, long lasting relief. By using patience and low force directly on target I am able to restore movement, easing tension & pain."
